AFTERBURNER - README.TXT
This file outlines the version, general notes,
system requirements, and how to get Technical Support.
VERSION:

GENERAL NOTES:
Afterburner is a post-processor for Director movies that
compresses and makes them ready for uploading to an HTTP
server, from which they'll be available to Internet users.
Movies compressed through Afterburner, use a .DCR extension
to identify them.
HTTP servers should set the MIME-Type for .DCR
files to:
application/x-director
This release includes the developer beta version of
Afterburner. It uses the final file format, the final
generic compression, and the final file extension.

customers calling from the United States and Canada
only. If you're anywhere else in the world, Technical
Support is provided by your local authorized
distributor.
In order to provide technical support, we will require
the following information. Please have it ready
before you call.
* your product serial number for the Director
application (or your Priority Access number, if you
are a subscriber)
You can find the serial number:
* on the splash screen of the program
* on the bottom of the box
* on the registration card stub
* a brief description of the problem or error, and the
specific text of any error messages.
* Additionally, we may need a profile of your computer
system, so please identify these items before you
call:
* computer make and model
* DOS/Windows or Macintosh OS version(s)
* screen resolution (screen dimensions in pixels, e.g.
640x480)
* screen color depth (number of colors, e.g. 256 colors)
* graphics card manufacturer, model name, and driver
version number
* amount of memory installed
* amount of free hard disk space
* sound card manufacturer and model name
* external devices connected to the computer
